Record Cover (Lukas Winter)

Night becomes the guiding symbol here – as a black surface followed by a line. If you take out the inlay, the view through the commonly used window to the label of the record is seemingly free. However, it only really becomes visible when the vinyl record is transported out of the (also black) protective cover, the night. The record as such shows the inner core as a representation of a thermal image, which is only exposed through the process of unpacking and thus takes on the theme of the record.
