The work consists of a series of paintings and specially designed quasi-frames, made of fabric and filled in from the inside to form three-dimensional objects. The paintings are made with mixed media, oil, acrylic and collage techniques. Partly on canvas, partly on paper. The work is in the ‘in-progress’ stage.
On a daily basis we use a variety of media in our practice: painting, object, 3D and 2D graphics, sound, or tattoo. Therefore, within the work, or accompanying it, video and photography, either are, or can be, presented, and the whole takes the form of a quasi wonder-room, at the intersection of narrative construction with a physical object and a static images or animation.
