What began as a protest against the increase in the price of public transport turned a few days later into an unprecedented popular revolt against neoliberal policies in Chile. This is how on Friday, October 18, 2019, the city of Santiago burns, Plaza de la Dignidad fills with rubble, the city fills with screams, dry and metallic sounds that like drums of war saturate the air and the night landscape. In this project, I created a virtual environment of Plaza de la Dignidad. Through spatial storytelling and using fragments as a method I reconstructed a moment of the collective process that I was unable to physically experience. In this storytelling, hybrid identities like ghosts, monsters, goddesses, cyborgs, and aliens will question the ideal modern Man.
