How can urban spatial productions beyond public and private be distinguished as inclusive spatial commons from exclusive spatial clubs? Who owns Rome-London-Paris-Moscow-Berlin (2070)? In a research and mapping seminar, we have - in feedback with historical references from the lecture and inputs on relevant model projects of contemporary urban development in Berlin - jointly undertaken virtual research trips to four major cities to compare them with Berlin. Using the mapping levels of property, open space, housing, cooperative planning, working and neighbourhood, spatial systems were recorded, interpreted, compared and speculatively projected into the future based on their political economies.
