Yellow Magic Orchestra is a Japanese music trio specializing in electropop. Its first album was released in Japan in 1978. The music of this album was influenced by the arcade games Circus and Space Invaders and Chinese music. This is represented on the cover by Chinese characters as a pixel font. In the Circus game, the balloons are colored by yellow, green and blue overlay foils. The same effect is achieved on the cover by means of the colored cover.
